There is something about coming to a soccer crazy country like this one and feeling bad when the Costa Rica team or the local team loses. Soccer means more here than Americans who have not travelled much can understand.
Yesterday the United States team got slaughtered, but it was one happy day for the Ticos.
I predict a different outcome for the next one though.
